How it works
- Create: Pick a creator (or leave it open), write the brief, set the reward and deadline.
- Fund: Your payment is locked in escrow — visible to the creator as proof of guaranteed payment.
- They deliver: The creator claims the bounty and submits proof. There’s a 24-hour verification window.
- Auto-pay or refund: If the work checks out, payment releases automatically. If no one delivers by the deadline, you get a full refund.
Creator activation fee
Each creator requires a one-time activation fee of $100 USD equivalent before bounties can be created for them. This can be paid by anyone — including the creator themselves, a fan, or the bounty poster.

How Payment Works
Escrow
When you create a bounty, your funds are locked in escrow — a secure holding account that neither you nor the creator can access until the job is verified. The creator sees guaranteed money waiting, which is why they respond.
Fees
- 5% platform fee on successful bounties only
- $0 on failed or expired bounties — you get a full refund
- No subscriptions, no minimums, no hidden charges
For managed campaigns, an additional 5% service fee applies (10% total).
Verification and disputes
After a creator claims a bounty, there’s a 24-hour verification window where anyone can flag issues. If a claim is disputed, our arbitration team reviews the evidence and makes a final decision within 7 days. Failed claims result in a full refund.
Trust layer
Your funds are secured by blockchain-based escrow that works invisibly in the background. You don’t need to understand the technology — just sign in with X/Twitter and everything is handled for you.
